Back in 2010, I used to read Harry Potter every single night – I must have read the entire series 3 or 4 times haha. Today, in 2017, I’m still the avid reader that I used to be – even though I now prefer reading about personal development or business/entrepreneurship. I genuinely believe that books are such a great source of knowledge and I know for a fact that they’ve been a great influence in my life.

#6 – The first step to effectively improving your lifestyle

“Your life is the sum result of all the choices you make, both consciously and unconsciously. If you can control the process of choosing, you can take control of all aspects of your life. You can find the freedom that comes from being in charge of yourself.” – Robert Bennett

If you want to effectively improve your life, you first have to admit to yourself that there are some things that you’d like to change in your life, then find the cause of the problem.

If your car’s fuel tank had a small leak, what would you do? One way of fixing it would be regular trips to the petrol station so as to ensure that your tank always has a decent amount of fuel. The other way would be to fix the leak. One way attempts to mask the problem while the other one fixes it.

It’s the same with any aspect of your life. If you aren’t where you want to be you fix the problem: your decisions.
